OUR TEACHERS

Alexander Hill

I've been musically inclined since before I was born (I would kick when people sang out of tune). I have been in some form of choir since 1996, and have played the French Horn since 2005.

After living in Boise, Idaho for a while, I began my own vocal studio and became a professional singer, singing Christmas Carols with Fortissimo Entertainment Services.

I then moved to live in Florida for a year, where I taught voice lessons, and worked as a "Singing Server". Now that I am back in Boise, I am continuing to sing professionally with St. Michael's and Opera Idaho.

Justin Holland
Guitar, Voice, Piano

From a very young age and onward, Justin has had an immense passion for music. He started out as a largely self-taught musician who has spent many years composing, and more recently teaching.

Justin’s eclectic musical background, rooted in hard rock and heavy metal, and branching out into jazz/jazz fusion and classical music allows him to be a highly flexible and adaptable teacher for all interested students. He is an active member of Critical Mass Vocal Artists, Opera Idaho’s chamber choir, and is a staff singer at St. Michael’s Episcopal Cathedral. Justin has recently graduated from Boise State University, and holds a Baccalaureate Degree in Music Education. He is a student of Dr. Ryan Nitz, Dr. Christina Mancheni, Dr. Barton Moreau, and Dr. John Hamilton among many more.
